I had to travel for work today and didn't get back in time to make the swimming class. I will try to see if/when I can make it up. I also won't be able to make next week's class though because, again, I am away for work. I hope this doesn't herald the end of swimming classes!!! I have been so busy in and out of work the last couple weeks and will also be next week I need to make sure my enthusiasm doesn't wane. Oh the complexities of learning to swim!
hi,
ReplyDeleteI was reading all over your blog and I'm quite inspired (sorry for any miss on my grammar, I'm from Costa Rica and my 1st language is Spanish). I'm and electronics engineer who use to enjoy swimming in rivers and so but once I almost drowned when I was 7 years old in a pool since then I usually keep my head above water.
I wanted to learn how to surf but 1st I need to master swimming, I'm 32 years old, and I have dedicated life to work and school, I just completed my master's degree and today after reading your blog I'm heading with a friend to the community sports facilities to get my self enrolled into swimming class :-D.
Your blog really add some more courage, for me to go learn.
Don't get frustrated and never give up!! as on the 300 movie goes: Spartans don't retreat, Spartans don't surrender!!
i will continue visiting your blog and updating on my progress as well.
Jah bless!! ;-)
Hi Rodney. Thanks for your support all the way from Costa Rica! Shared stories and feedback on this blog is a source of inspiration for me too and right now I can't wait to just get back in the pool and try some more. Let me know how you go. :)
